Excellent Stay
spa access wide selection charging point valuable amenity
The provided SPA access was a plus. I made use of the pool and sauna. Breakfast was comprehensive, with a wide selection of options. The Full English was particularly good. An electric vehicle charging point was very convenient, I found it to be a valuable amenity. The location offered proximity to attractions.
The TV in the room did not function correctly . Staff acknowledged the issue, but a resolution was not provided.

Breakfast had many choices with a very good Full English option. I also found dinner choices excellent. The bar was well stocked, and it created a pleasant atmosphere. I found it perfect for a relaxing drink.

Wonderful Stay with Excellent Facilities
kitchenette facilities included sauna clubhouse ambiance restaurant breakfasts
I appreciated the kitchenette in my room. The included sauna was a lovely addition to my stay. The clubhouse restaurant had a warm atmosphere. The restaurant food was great (I tried delicious Welsh breakfasts!).
The TV wasn't working and, unfortunately, no one offered to fix it .

Really good Hospitality and Relaxing Atmosphere
spacious family room modern bathroom friendly staff leisure facilities
Our family room was very spacious and accommodated everyone. The bathroom included modern fixtures and provided great comfort. The restaurant provided an excellent meal. I found the staff there very friendly. The use of leisure facilities, particularly the swimming pool, was a wonderful perk. We loved the pool. but the view was amazing!
The television in the room was not working properly, which caused slight inconvenience one evening.

decent place to stay
beautiful grounds amazing meal customer care old frying pan
the grounds were beautiful. the restaurant provided an amazing meal, the best I have had in a while whilst in a hotel. the facilities had limited times. they closed at 8pm and did not open til 9am so I did not get to try, but it all looked very clean.
First impressions were bad due to a lack of customer care. I travelled a couple hours in the car with children. naturally they were bored and wanting some fun. the receptionist was miserable as sin when i walked in. everything seems REALLY old and used. For example, the frying pan was greasy.

The TV did not work and staff did not fix it. There was no washing up liquid in the room. The room needs some repairs.

Grounds Looked Good
poor greens unwelcoming atmosphere
The grounds presented a nice appearance.
The golf course greens disappointed me. I thought they would be in much better condition for a high-level club. The clubhouse lacked atmosphere and I did not feel very welcomed.
